St Merkorious Charity had the pleasure of serving the Blacktown community a Christmas Lunch, complete with a hot meal and dessert, on December the 15th, 2020.
Volunteers were able to sit and chat with individuals who were struggling, and we were also able to distribute multiple packaged meals to families to have over the Christmas period so that they can enjoy Christmas with security and a full stomach.
Additionally, the generous support and donations from Strathfield Council’s ‘Share the Dignity’ campaign meant that we were able to distribute care packs and bags for women and their families.
