Thank you for your interest in becoming a warehouse assistant volunteer! Our warehouse in South Strathfield has stock and goods that are constantly changing, collecting and delivering donated goods, food, and other helpful things that can help our clients. As a warehouse assistant, you’ll help us sort out and keep our warehouse always ready.
Making a difference is important – but we also like to ensure our volunteer’s safety and suitability. That’s why we’d prefer it if you:
We request a minimum commitment of 3 hours on a weekday between 7.00 am – 2.00 pm Monday-Friday for at least 3 months.
Your rostering of hours and days will be negotiated with you to meet your availabilities as a volunteer and the needs of the service.
We are committed to upholding the Volunteering Australia’s National Standards for Involving Volunteers. That’s why the engagement of ongoing volunteers is generally restricted to a maximum of 16 hours per week.
