St Merkorious Charity welcomed in the Christmas cheer with ‘Christmas in the Park’, where we invited the St Merkorious community out for a great day at Parramatta Park on December 15th, 2021.
Serving hot meals and Christmas spirit, the event was a much needed reprieve for our community after a particularly harsh year with long COVID lockdowns. Volunteers could sit and chat with individuals who were struggling, and we distributed many food and hygiene hampers to struggling families so that they could enjoy Christmas with a full belly and a full spirit.
We would like to particularly thank our sponsors and supporters, including DASCO, Terra Firma, PAYCE, AJN, Collappor8, Star Property Maintenance, Paynter Dixon, and countless others who took time out of their day to make Christmas in the Park a success.
