We collect, prepare, cook, and distribute fresh food that gives real nourishment to address food insecurity in Australia, helping them get through tough times.
We believe that no-one should ever feel abandoned by their community, and we know how important a listening ear can be. We chat, we laugh, we smile. We give hope.
Many in our community face poverty, unemployment, homelessness, disability and disadvantage. Help us help them with what they need to get them back on their feet.
We are strong when working together. Bringing joy to others is a joy in itself, and there is tremendous satisfaction knowing that our acts of kindness are changing lives.

Since opening our doors, St Merkorious Charity has been encouraged by the enthusiasm, passion, talent, and sacrifice of so many special people who have put precious time aside to serve the St Merkorious Charity, and the poor around us.
We have weekly food drives in Woolloomooloo, Parramatta and deliveries to various locations. We are always looking to expand and do more for our clients, so keep up to date on what’s happening on our events page!
Our fundraising initiative, ‘Tema Hospital Project,’ is dedicated to renovating and re-opening the hospital to offer vital healthcare services once again to this underserved rural community.
